Great fishing if you know what you're doing. Hell, we caught 2 keeper smallies 50 yards from the dock in about 5 minutes. Moved around to fish probably 5 nice locations. My fishing buddy caught a 22" large mouth. We probably caught 35 fish that day. All species but no trout. Great easy spot to fish. Hell the fish come to you in about 15 minutes. Minnows, jigs, even fake plastics. The whole lake cant be choppy

I fished this lake for an entire afternoon with three others and we didn't have much luck. We caught a few smallmouth bass but nothing to brag about. It was very difficult to locate fish and they weren't in the places we thought they might be (ie. drop-offs, shallow bays, etc.) Best advice I can give, if you are fishing with a group, try a wide variety of baits and when you find the fish stay of 'em.
