Little Green Lake

I can speak for puckaway that carpios statement is not true. Years ago you could troll PUCK in the spring up until about mid june/ july. Then in july/ august you could troll the main basin in the middle only . About four years ago the weeds took over entirely . Every year there is a walleye tournament out of marquette , that was won mostly by trolling years ago. Now most anglers dont bother trolling because of the weeds choking it out . Some areas the weeds dont go down at all into winter . It should be a big bluegill factory due to the amount of vegetation. I ice fish puckaway and prior to the weed takeover i use to open water fish it a lot . Thats my .02

In 3-4 weeks they’ll start dying back.   Typical yearly weed growth.  By fall everyone will complain about the lack of weeds lol.

Is it the early warm weather this year that's weed-choked these lakes? Little Green, Puck, Emily...all terrible. 

Fished this morning. First and last time going here. Lake is disgusting! One largemouth. Weeds over took 10' and less. 

Is there any panfish action going on?

Me and my son launched our pontoon yesterday for the camping season. Did not fish yet but checked out the lake. The weeds were pretty bad.

If I remember correctly they are in STINKERS BAY.   The SUNSET BAR could probably give a more accurate location and yes the water was boiling up through the holes . This was many years ago but we drove on at the end of Black Hawk island.

I have not dove KOSHKONONG lake.  Do you know where these springs are? Are they big enough to see surface water 'boil'?

You ever dive the springs on KOSHKONONG?     I’ve fished near them.

I've heard there are springs in this lake with enough flow to move the water at the surface.  Does anyone know where they are? We are interested in diving there to see if the springs are big enough to dive into.
