Fox Lake

Had some luck on 5/17/24 caught crappies,30 in northern and a smallmouth

I havnt been out much on Fox this season and honestly when I do go out I have not been doing that great.  This week I made it out for a trip right before the storms and the fish were FIRED UP! I caught 4 bass over 18 and a couple of big pike.  This was easily a 50 fish day but I didnt show all of the catches in order to protect the spots.  However, I went back the next day and those fish had moved on anyways. 

Tuesday good day with front moving in ! Battled the wind but was worth it ! 

slow but good day, 7 bass between 2.5 and 3.3 lbs,  PB wally 5.63 lbs,  does the 15 lb ? carp count also (fin snagged)  all CPR.  fishing weed pockets and hole around islands.  good luck  RT :)

Water temps were actually warmer by 3 degrees in shallow water adjacent to deep water then it was in a large area of shallow to the north.  The game fish were predominantly in the first area described.

Any crappie action?  Coming up next Thursday.

Did pretty good on bass and pike but the lake is pretty green already.  Water a little clearer in a couple of the bays.  Water temp was low 60s.

The water temps ranged from 53⁰ - 59⁰

I was out on tuesday and the water had about 6 inches of clarity. Really cloudy water, I was casting and didn't catch anything.

I would guess the water is only in the 50's so no algae,
